Job Descriptions
Apprentice Carpenter
This is a 4-year program that consists of on-the-job training as a full-time employee and attending class one day per week at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri, during the spring and fall semesters. The apprentice gains knowledge and hones their craft, while Branco gains a valuable and skilled employee. Graduates of our apprenticeship program are recognized and certified as Journeyman Carpenters by the U.S. Department of Labor. This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Concrete Finisher
A Concrete Finisher places and finishes surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; use saws to cut expansion joints. This job is responsible for aligning and producing concrete forms, monitoring environmental variables, and maintaining company-owned materials.
Equipment Operator
A Heavy Equipment Operator operates equipment such as backhoes, track-hoes, bulldozers, mini excavators, skid steers, or track loaders to lift, move or place equipment or materials. They also inspect, clean, lubricate, and fuel equipment prior to beginning their shift or as additionally required. They work closely with other equipment operators and ground crew in the preparation and construction of civil or commercial building sites. Operators use sound judgment to safeguard life and property while in control of their equipment. Many operators work with several types of equipment while some choose to specialize in just one or more.
Form Carpenter
A Form Carpenter utilizes blueprints to determine proper dimensions, shapes, and designs of form structures. The form carpenter uses precise measurements to cut and assemble 2x material, plywood or steel/aluminum modular panels to the necessary size required to form footings, walls, or slab edges. The responsibilities of this include measuring materials, verifying structures, troubleshooting blueprints, and constructing concrete forms.
Laborer
Performs tasks involving physical labor for concrete work and other commercial construction tasks. Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings. May operate a variety of hand and power tools to dig trenches, set braces and concrete forms, pour and place concrete, tend machines, clean up rubble and debris, and remove waste materials. May assist other craft workers or operating engineers.
Pre-Engineered Metal Building Worker
A Pre-engineered Metal Building Worker is responsible for the staging and erection of structural steel components and prefabricated metal building packages for industrial and commercial projects. The primary focus for this is interpreting pre-engineered building blueprints, determining the materials required, and planning the sequence of tasks.
Underground Utilities, Plumbing
An underground utilities, plumbing specialist is responsible for the excavation, installation, and (or) maintenance of water main and service lines. We are looking to fill multiple positions on this crew requiring varying levels of related knowledge: from general labor to pipe-fitter, to the equipment operator. Excavation may be accomplished using a backhoe, mini-excavator or by utilizing hand tools. Knowledge of piping and associated fittings and water meters is essential.

Support staff to include project managers, estimators, accountants, information technology, human resources, marketing, mechanics or assistants of each.
