Our team was tasked with updating and renovating the facility to fit the needs of Interpres while preserving as much of the building’s history as possible.
The primary structure was constructed as a 2-bay fire station, with living quarters, constructed of brick-covered concrete block, a built-up roof and a concrete slab foundation. Exterior grounds include asphalt drives and parking and grass-covered lawn areas. The interior of the primary building is divided into 2nd story open living quarters (with shower and locker rooms) and 1st floor commons space, with offices, restroom, kitchen, and garage.
The secondary building structure at the site is a 6-story training tower constructed similar to the primary structure.
