Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma – Ohio River Valley Splash Pad
Location: Wyandotte, OK | Architect/Engineer: CGA Architects
The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma entrusted Branco with the construction of a new splash pad, music garden, covered pavilion, and raised garden bed area at the Early Childhood Center. The splash pad, situated near the Sacred Circle, was meticulously designed to foster a connection between the children and nature while honoring the tribe’s rich history and traditions. From the engraved paving stones marking the tribe’s journey from Ohio to the water features and sculptures of culturally significant animals, every element of the design reflects the Tribe’s heritage. This center serves around 140 children.
“Anytime I had a question, regardless of how small it might have been, Marty listened, and we are greatly appreciative.”
– Glenna J. Wallace, Chief of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma
