“The Next Step” is a ballot measure that passed in June 2020 to fund approximately $22M worth of projects for the Neosho School District. The District had identified several areas at multiple campuses that needed either additional buildings or were in need of renovations. The ballot measure included building a new 5,500 sq ft multi-purpose storm shelter that will double as a learning and professional development space at the Neosho Middle School. That portion of the Building Program was completed in August 2021. In December November of 2021, our team completed the construction of a new End Zone facility located at Neosho High School. The facility is approximately 43,000 sq ft and features locker rooms, concessions, restrooms, and a turfed indoor practice area for extracurricular activities. The indoor facility also includes a weight room, film room, storage area, and multi-purpose mezzanine that houses two batting cages.
Our team completed the new 1,500 seat performance hall for the Neosho School District in 2023. It includes an updated Atrium lobby, ticket booth, band suite, and alumni courtyard. Branco coordinated closely with the Missouri Department of Transportation and the City of Neosho, in addition to the normal project team due to the added complexity of this project. The road beside the school (Hill St.) had to be relocated to accommodate the addition of the performance hall. Additionally, the main road in front of the building is a state highway and needed to be modified as part of this effort.
