Branco worked with the City of Republic and Sapp Design Architects for the recent addition to the Republic aquatic park – doubling the square footage of the existing facility.
The Rush Republic Aquatic Park features a lazy river that spans over 575 feet long that spans. The lazy river wraps around an island in the middle in which guests can lounge in cabanas, accessible via bridge. There are also two new slides, a tube slide and speed slide. There will also be an area for food truck parking, giving citizens access to more dining options during their visit.
A new pool house will offer a spaced needed for the lifeguards on duty across the facility and will also have four single-occupancy restrooms.
